The monuments are taken care of by the workers of the Archeological survey of India. They are trained to protect and care for these beautiful marble inlay works and carvings, which are unique to Agra. We advise all tourists not to use shoes with sharp nails/heals, which may harm the floor of the monument and garden surrounding it.
